The KnowPulse KnowledgeBase focuses on short question-based lessons to help researchers get their work done.
- Purpose: This tutorial is aiming to guide our pulse crop researchers through the procedure of getting a list of SNPs/varieties between 2+ varieties within a region of interest. In this lesson, you will learn how to search for your interested genotypic data and how to look up the genotype matrix from your selected region.
- Who: Pulse Crop Researchers focused on variation data.
- Maintainer(s): Lacey-Anne Sanderson, Ruobin Liu
This tutorial is aiming to guide our pulse crop researchers through the search of their interested region or compare between two interested germplasm. The genotypic matrix tool allows researchers to find a list of genotypic data of their interested germplasm, which can be helpful for their own breeding programs.
Some of the things you will learn include:
How to find genotypic data?
How to search for sequence variants between two selected germplasm?
How to view genome within a given region?
The KnowPulse KnowledgeBase lessons are hands-on, so participants are encouraged to use their own computers to ensure the proper setup of tools for an efficient workflow. To most effectively use these materials, please make sure to download the data and install everything before working through this lesson.
This workshop assumes no prior experience with the tools covered in the workshop.
