The KnowPulse KnowledgeBase focuses on short question-based lessons to help researchers get their work done.
- Purpose: This lesson will show you how to use the pedigree tool and linked phenotypic data to explore a specific cross in the field.
- Who: Pulse Crop Researchers focused on variation data
- Maintainer(s): Lacey-Anne Sanderson, Ruobin Liu
This tutorial is aiming to guide our pulse crop researchers through the procedure of germplasm searching. The germplasm search allows researchers to view the pedigree tool and phenotypic data of individual crosses, which can be a useful tool for their own breeding programs.
Some of the things you will learn include:
How to search for a specific cross on KnowPulse
How to view pedigree tool for a given cross
How to use the pedigree tool and linked phenotypic data to explore a specific cross in the field
